CONFUCIUS INSTITUTE
The Confucius Institute is a non-profit education organization created to satisfy the demands of people from different countries and regions in the world who learn Chinese language. It sets out its goals to enhance their understanding of the Chinese language and culture, to deepen relationships with other nations, to promote the development of multi-culturalism, and to the building of a harmonious world.
The Confucius Institute, located in one of Babes-Bolyai University's newest buildings, Economica II, will carry out the following activities:
- Teaching Chinese language and providing Chinese language teaching resources
- Training Chinese language instructors
- Holding the HSK examination (Chinese Proficiency Test) and tests for the Certification of the Chinese Language Teachers
- Providing information and consultative services concerning China's education, culture
- Conducting language and cultural exchange activities.
